How’s it going Leo?

Meet one of our Resident Artists, Leonardo “Leo” Modugno!

Leo joined Open Door Studio and quickly began to create his unique art style. Most notably, his love of German Shepards led him to create his first piece, a paper mache sculpture of a dog. Leo also loves to follow along with our guided lessons and our "Painting with the Masters" projects.

Leo splits his time between Oxnard and Palm Springs with his family. Aside from creating art, he is learning how to cook. While he is just starting out, Leo wants to become the best at cooking pizza. His favorite pizza place is Domino's.

Some of Leo’s other interests include going on walks and playing video games. His favorite genre is sandbox games, such as Grand Theft Auto V and Minecraft.

Leo’s warm smile makes our studio a friendlier place.

To submit your or your person's art, please reach out to our organization via email or phone and provide a description of the artwork along with your preferred method of submission. We'll guide you through the process and ensure your artwork is considered with care and respect (we can even work towards ways you or said artist can earn commission with their work).
We recommend seeing our location for yourself physically! To inquire about renting out the gallery space, please schedule an appointment with our team via email or phone. We'll be happy to discuss your needs and provide you with all the necessary information regarding rental procedures and availability.
Bring them along! If you know a group of artists and they all have varying interests within art and their needs, we recommend following up and inviting them to our next event. It will be nothing short of inspiring and by letting us know prior via email/call of their interests about the space, we can arrange a class and a few other services we usually provide (and can try catering to) as well.
